Fun Times !! Djembe drum lesson

This dog was big but so gentle he belonged to the instructor. I had a lot of fun....there is more to it than just hitting a drum !Base,tone & snap are the 3 1st notes I learned...of course it will take about 1 year to get the "snap" down....unless I'm a natural ! Ha !The picture of me is with the inst. and the other one is a pic of more students. The 1 woman is 70 and just started playing a year ago !!!

SOOOOO,in 1 more week the clan should be arriving !!! Hope that means Marilyn & Gordon too ! Looking forward to our trip to Florida in their camper,just spending time with the boys before they fly off to NZ. :( Will desperately miss all of them but excited for this season in their lives !! Have a good Thanksgiving everyone !!!
