Decorating for fall....

Love all the fall colors,leaves are falling and I had cream of wheat for breakfast ! Also baked a skillet cake...gonna cut a piece now to have with my coffee. I'll come back and show more pics. of the kids and let you know how the cake was !

SO, today we were going to go see some trains.. some of you might know that TODAY was National Free Museum Day, welll, the Trains were our destination, BUT we decided that was gonna be boring. When we looked up there web page, on the part where it said "things to do for kids" the highlight was "reading" followed by "train discussion." hmmm, not too fun we thought. So we went to Bill's parents brothers house, they are house sitting, ANYWAYS, back to the chickens... we went there to their goat/chicken farm. AND BOY, did we have a blast. The kids loved the chicken.... Bill got bit on the "bum" by a goat, but he was our only casualty.. lol. Pooooor Billly Goat, hahaha, i mean Billy Boy... so whity.. That was it, discussion over, chickens are still in one piece, and as tasty as EVER!!

So nice to have a win....autumn is such football weather !! Had fun spending the week-end in VA. seeing the fam. The 3 youngest will be visiting me here in Pa. for a few days. This is also the seasons for all the local fairs.Good food and smelly animals ! Let's see you wanna see some pictures ?? ok here we go......

Today showed that summer just might be at an end here in PA. I'm ready....bring out the fall stuff. Went shopping in the square and picked up a few fun things. Uh-hum....someones birthday is coming soon.No not Kyle's (he never reads this ). Anyways I'm happy !! No pictures today :( ,BUT I'm going to VA on Friday so I'll be sure to have some fresh pictures !!! Have fun doing whatever you are doing !!

Think I'll have corn tonight !!! Bill's parents are here doing their annual "freeze fresh corn for the winter " .I have to admit...it is nice going to the freezer and getting a bag. I'm sorta feeling like the childhood story "The little red hen " hahahahah

Today has been a nice fall day...cleaned up the back patio,swept,brought plants in and no cooking !Had lunch at the church met some new people,went for a drive and puttered around !Having left-over pizza now ! My luncheon turned out really nice.Here are some pictures should have talen more...oh well.
